Last week Happy Family sponsored a tasting party for some local families! We got to try a few recipes from their new cookbook and some of their pre-made products. Happy Family brand has a wide variety of healthy snacks for your little ones and they are readily available at popular local retailers. Plus they are easy to grab and go while still keeping things healthy!
We were excited to try many of the products including Happy Yogis, Happy Puffs, snack bars, alphabet snacks and chickpea straws. We had a few people at our party that had allergies and it was very easy to read the packaging and see if they could try a product. Plus we had a local representative from Happy Family attend our party and she brought a super helpful allergy chart!
We also got to explore the cookbook, which has some really great recipes in it! The Happy Family Rep brought zucchini muffins that were a huge hit! I made the banana and quinoa muffins which were also completely gone by the end of the party! We had stations set up so the kids and moms could make the turkey and melon kabobs and also the snack mix.
The kids got to decorate aprons and chef hats so they can go home and help their parents prepare healthy and yummy meals! The book is available on the Organic Happy Family website along with lots of other great information on feeding young ones.
