Independence Day is packed with great traditions and no other holiday transcends warm weather fun, great food and outdoor bands like July 4th. And then there are the amazing fireworks!
Enjoy an early dinner at your favorite Sanford restaurant, stroll through the shops and galleries, spend the afternoon at the Ft. Mellon Park Splash Pad and then join us at 7 pm along the Riverwalk and in Ft. Mellon Park for music, food and drinks. Be sure to bring lounge chairs or blankets for seating in our many viewing areas along the waterfront.
Then the Fireworks...
Join us for the stunning fireworks display over Lake Monroe just after sunset! Zambelli Fireworks, one of the nations most respected fireworks companies has created a display that will amaze you! You won’t believe your eyes and ears as you enjoy the nearly twenty minute pyrotechnics show choreographed to patriotic music.
For Your Safety:
-No personal fireworks of any kind are allowed.
-Only small personal coolers (ex: 12"x12") are allowed in the event area.
-All bags and containers are subject to search at all times.
-Alcohol, glass containers, and Styrofoam are prohibited.
-For the safety of your pet and others, pets are not be allowed in the event area.
-Golf carts are prohibited in the event footprint.
The event area is defined as the land and lakefront between Palmetto Avenue and San Juan Avenue, and Seminole Blvd. to First Street.
