Description
This year's Holiday Raptor Mingle will be a fun filled event with crafts for kids and adults as well learning about Florida raptors! You will have a choice between add on packages to enhance your experience. Each time slot will also have a flight demonstration and raffle!
General Admission: includes a raffle ticket and experiencing our fabulous raptors.
Add-On Packages available for this year's event:
Holiday Raptor Goodies Add-On $10: create raptor themed holiday card and ornament
Adult Raptor Goodies Add-On $25: Everything in the Holiday Raptor Goodies add-on package plus creating a raptor themed wreath. Note that the wreath craft is more complex and not intended for young children.
Owl Experience Add-On $50.00 for up to 4 people - Get up close and personal with Henry the Barn Owl! With this add-on package, you will:
• Meet a general falconer and learn about the sport of falconry
• Hold Henry on your gloved hand with instruction from a falconer. We’ll help you take a picture of the experience with your phone.
The experience will last up to 20 minutes, but we reserve the right to end sooner for any reason. It is limited to a group of 4 people at a time, with only one individual in the group being the primary guest handler. Before the end of your session, Henry can pose on each person’s gloved hand for a picture.
Holiday Raptor Raffle
Every ticketed attendee will receive one raffle ticket and additional tickets will be available to purchase at ARC. This year's raffle includes some exciting items:
• ARCs Holiday Raptor Mingle T-shirt
• ARC Holiday Greeting Cards
• ARC Ornament
• 5x7 Metal Print of Ella or Ruby in flight
All proceeds from the event help ARC continue to rehabilitate injured/orphaned raptors and educate people about Florida's raptors.
