About this event
The Avian Reconditioning Center (ARC)'s Owl at the Moon event is on Saturday, October 25, 2025. This event includes arts and crafts projects, flight demonstrations, and our fabulous ambassador birds of prey ready to meet you!
General Admission - $10.00 per person - General admission includes the following: one paper owl mask to decorate, one owl information sheet per ticket, access to view our educational ambassador birds under our pavilion and in our classroom, and flight demonstration(s).
Add-On Package - $12.00 per person - This add-on includes one additional art project, one owl pellet to dissect, one 4x6 portrait of an ambassador owl, and a chance to win an ARC t-shirt.
Owl Experience Add-on - $105 - Get up close and personal with Henry and Ella the Barn Owls! With this add-on package, you will:
- Meet a general falconer and learn about the sport of falconry
- Hold Henry and Ella on your gloved hand with instruction from a falconer. We’ll help you take a picture of the experience with your phone.
Falcon Experience Add-on - $160 - Get up close and personal with Ford the Aplomado Falcon! With this add-on package, you will:
- Meet a general falconer and learn about the sport of falconry
- Hold Ford on your gloved hand with instruction from a falconer. We’ll help you take a picture of the experience with your phone.
- Experience the excitement of having a falcon fly to your glove
The experience will last up to 45 minutes, but we reserve the right to end sooner for any reason. It is limited to a group of 4 people at a time. Before the end of your session, the bird can pose on each person’s gloved hand for a picture.
The cost of the tickets are non-refundable and in case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled. Your email will serve as your ticket so make sure to bring it with you when you attend. We look forward to seeing you!
